The New York Yankees won their 27th World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. The final score was 7 to 3. The one thing I though was awesome, was that their designate hitter, Matsui, pretty much won the game for them.

The White House has released the Photo of Air Force One flying over New York City.
Louis Caldera, the directory at the White House Military Office, handed in his resignation Friday to President Obama. Louis Caldera arranged the flyover for a photo opportutnity.
The cost of this photo opp is right around $328,835, according to a Air Force spokeswoman.
