benq

iXtreme LT + firmware has been released for the BenQ and LiteOn Xbox 360 drives. This release does not support the upcoming Xbox 360 slim drive, that will be coming shortly.

Download iXtreme LT + Firmware

Official release of C4E’s iXtreme LT+
- Supports Benq and Liteon Drives (74850, 83850V1, 83850V2, 93450)
- Optimized PFI code to accommodate AP25 SS data
- Defeats current AP25 protection
- Protects console from logging AP25 violation
- Full disc stealth used by default
- Waveless booting, disc images are assumed to be correct!
- Split-Vid used as default

If booting an AP25 title without AP25 SS game will not boot but will still be protected from logging AP25 violation on current dash 2.0.12611.0
If LT+ encounters an unknown AP25 challenge, game will not boot but console will still be protected from logging AP25 violation on current dash 2.0.12611.0

AP25 SS are region specific for region locked games (Current Example NFS: Hot Pursuit is both PAL and NTSC – 2 different AP25 Patches)

If you boot the AP25 titles without LT+ you will probably be flagged for a ban.

You cannot spoof a different model drive as that can now be detected. With this release of LT+ you HAVE to have an original Benq or Liteon.

LT+ for slim 9504 is next followed by LT+ for slim 0225

Thanks go to Team Jungle for their hard work and efforts in the development process.
Thanks go to Team Xecuter for their generous support and input to this project.

iXtreme Firmware, now formerly know as LT Lite Touch Firmware is currently in testing phase. Though it’s not currently released, it should be fairly soon. I’m not sure which firmware TeamJungle will release next, I’m guessing it’s going to be iXtreme LT Lite Touch for Samsung, but not 100% sure.

Stay tuned for latest iXtreme LT Lite Touch Firmware

As posted on TeamJungle’s twitter page, the iXtreme Lite Touch firmware is almost complete for BenQ drives. They didn’t mention a eta, and they never do. But rest assured, you’ll be flashing Lite Touch LT firmware on your BenQ fairly soon. [Read More]

The new firmware, Lite Touch, is still being developed by C4eva, and ETA is unknown. So hand tite, and keep checking the blogs for any updates.

Flashing the BenQ VAD6038 drive with iXtreme 1.6 Firmware is one of the easiest drives to flash. To start out, I recommend downloading and reading through the Jungle Flasher tutorial. In the past, with iXtreme 1.51, I always posted on here, the steps to flashing it. But seriously folks, the PDF tutorial out there is a great resource, and why should I try to re-invent the wheel.

So to get started, here’s a list of what you need to grab.

This tutorial covers both updating from iXtreme 1.5, 1.51 and flashing your drive, if it’s currently does not have ixtreme at all. In most cases, any pc that’s fairly new, and has a SATA port on the motherboard should work just fine. If you don’t have any SATA ports, you can always purchase the VIA-6421 PCI card. Usually, it’s around $15 dollars roughly, which can be found off Ebay.

If you need any help, you can always visit iXtreme.net for detailed instructions and help on flashing your BenQ drive.

Good Luck!

Details of iXtreme 1.6 Firmware

Team HyperX Presents IXtreme 1.6 firmware for Benq, Samsung and Liteon drives
——————————————————————————

IXtreme fw for Benq, Samsung and Liteon drives!

Features
——–

-Strict Wave 3 compliance! hybrid (modified disks) will not boot!

-Strict drive speed compliance – 12x only for game discs!

-Support for SS V2!

-Integrated 0800 for game dumping including SS v2!

-Full support for all known game exceptions! eg ddr etc!

-One shot boot mode! – allows a one off boot of gamedisc without -stealth/partition checks (will still use stealth), use activate.iso disk to activate each time!

-Support for easy drive key/version info cmd, same as liteon!

-Strict stealth/wave checking, one shot boot mode will boot wave(x)!

More Info
———

Strict Wave 3 compliance means wave 3 games will only boot if they have correct PFI/DMI/SS and timestamp for wave 3

Strict drive speed compliance means games will only boot if drive is set for the initial speed of 12x, any modification of this make games fail to boot

SS v2 suports multiple timing samples for challenges type 5 and 7 , stroing them in the SS. This is a pre-requiste for SS v3 which has support for the so called AP2.5 check. Since this has never been used or may never be used by MS we will adopt a wait and see approach and continue to monitor for its usage.

With drive in Windows mode (Tray half open on powerup) 0800 mode is activated allowing easy dumping of game disc including SS v2. In this mode the drive is also able to output drive key, fw version and drive type by using a simple custom inquiry command.

Game exceptions are integrated in the fw for games that do not comply with the strict wave checks but are legitimate. These are Dance Dance Revolution Universe, Stoked, Ping 17 disk, afro samurai

One shot boot mode allows you to boot a Wave X or non stealth game by using the activate.iso disk as a flag. Just insert the activate disc and the next disc inserted will boot without any strict checks. This will still utilise full stealth if available. As soon as that disc is booted the flag is cleared, and you will have to re-insert the activate disk again to enable one shot boot. As always use with caution.

This information was taken from a comment found in another one of the post here. I feel it’s worth mentioning. Apparently, ixtreme 1.6 firmware is making some good progress. Thanks to everyone involved in it.

I’m thinking we should start a Chipin fund for them?

Update for iXtreme 1.6 Firmware

The best deal with 1.6 ixtreme is that you can back up your games directly from your xbox through your sata with the 0800 function integrated. You used to have to flash the 0800 firmware to back up your games, then flash again back to ixtreme to play them. NICE

Stay tuned for further information about the New iXtreme Experience (NiXE) !

-> The new iXtreme 1.6 won?t load modified Disks with hybrid StealthSectors (e.g. Games with 1.51 modified to work on 1.5). This is because of your own security.

-> There?s an option with what you can turn of/on the StealthCheck on iXtreme, which means you can now load NON-Stealth Games. Though you have to activate this option everytime you want to play a NON-Stealth 360 Game. Activate it with the ?activate.iso? coming with iXtreme. But iXtreme is of course still Stealth.

-> You can now dump your original 360 Games through your 360 Drive with 0800 Dumping. No need for the Kreon Drive anymore!

-> The new iXtreme 1.6 will now support StealthSectors V2, which is probably safer for you. More information about this new feature will follow soon. (!)

-> Drive Speed for games is set to 12x due to less ban-risk.

-> The new iXtreme 1.6 is finished for BenQ?s and right now in testings. For Samsung?s and LiteOn?s it is almost finished and Hitachi is going to be the next.
