No Stimulus Petition, to late to stop the US Senate?

February 10, 2009 · 0 comments

Seen a lot of talk on blogs lately about a Petition to stop the Obama and Congress Stimulus Bill, a bill full of Pork Spending that we just can’t afford. Seriously, how do the lawmakers justify the spending of this enormous amount of money, supposedly on creating jobs. Obama says we need to pass this bill, to build roads, bridges, etc, etc.

I don’t know about you, but I sure the hell don’t know how to build a damm bridge, or even a road that sake. So, this “No Stimulus Petition” that’s been circulating, sounds like a good idea, but it just might be to late. And what if, what if this Petition went “Viral”,  will they even listen to us voters? Of course not, they’re more worried about finding ways to bring Pork money back to their respective states, basically, insuring their next re-election. We’ll, it’s worth a shot, they haven’t silenced us yet, not until the Fairness Doctrines gets re-instated.

Update:

We’re screwed!

Moving with lightning speed, key lawmakers announced agreement Wednesday on a $789 billion economic stimulus measure designed to create millions of jobs in a nation reeling from recession. President Barack Obama could sign the bill within days.
