Domino’s CEO bakes Subways letter in Commercial

So what do you do when Subway sends Domino’s a “Cease and Desist” letter, stating “PLEASE STOP RUNNING THESE ADS.” You simply give it to the CEO to burn it. We’ll, that’s at least what the Domino’s CEO, Dave Brandon’s did. In a response to the Subway letter, Dave Brandon was featured in a new Advertising commercial (created by Crispin Porter + Bogusky) that aired last night during American Idol.

This video is now featured on the home page of Domino’s, where users can watch the video, and when it’s done, click the button to “Bake it”, and watch the letter go up in flames.

As shown below, Domino’s is also posting the results which was conducted by Lieberman Research Worldwide, in October 2008.

That is hilarious!! As soon as I saw the first of those new Domino’s ads on TV I knew it was only a matter of time. But I love how they twisted it into another marketing ploy kudos to Dominos!

How funny is this that the CEO counters Subway by being in the commercial and burning their letter. :)
